My understanding about garments is that if they ride up or curl down, they're too small. Spanx' error in this regard is really inexcusable, given the price of their items. I can't recommend this item, even if you were to buy a larger size than you think you need, because I don't know if that would prevent the roll-up problem. I have found that even wearing a Spanx shaper underneath is no guarantee--in fact, the top of the pants rolled DOWN even while the camisole was rolling UP!
