BooHoo and a fortune too
To don this shapely bod…
I thought that I would be sleek and more
Instead I look like a bumper car.
The bottom rolls and rolls some more
An inner tube tire going out the door
How can I be svelte and smooth
When my underwear makes a big rolling grove
Around the middle of my waist
And created cataclysmic checkbook waste!
This underwear, which cost a bunch
Rolls and Rolls and scrunches up
Around a midrift I am trying to smooth
Trust me, the look just ain’t so cool
I look like I am ten pounds thicker
The constant rolling up bottom is an uncomfortable sticker.
BooHoo and Too Bad
I think that I have been advertised “had”.

I bought this to wear under a slim fitting tank top. It worked out ok, didn’t slim too much but gave me some confidence. I noticed the bottom edge was already fraying which upset me a bit since it’s over 70 dollars. So I wore it for pictures and it rolled up but I figured that was just because we were moving around a lot. When I got home I washed it on delicate and hung it to dry. I wore it one more time and it rolled up all day which was embarassing because it kept pulling my shirt up with it. Now I just grabbed it to wash it and noticed that both the underwires were already popping out.
This was a terrible waste of money and I hope I looked thin enough in the pictures to be worth it but I’m betting I didn’t.
Save yourself the trouble, go buy 70 dollars worth of lean cuisines instead.

I wish I could give this cami 5 stars, but for my particular body type, I just can’t. I’m 5′4 and size 8. I have fluffy hips that I would love to just chop off. Thus, the reason for the Spanx. I love the way it fits and looks when I’m standing still. Then I move, and it rolls up. Too tight? Maybe. If it were any looser, it wouldn’t do its job. My problem is that I have a narrow waist. It makes sense that it would roll up. I have a friend who has this exact cami and she loves it. Her waist is not as narrow, so it doesn’t roll up at all. I have yet to find a product that doesn’t roll up or down. I’ve tried several. It’s just not meant to be. I think I’ll try to lose a little weight instead of whining that the easy way out doesn’t work for me.
And a word of advice, don’t always trust a negative review. What’s wrong on someone else may not be wrong on you.

I bought this with hopes it would even out my shape and hold in my gut. The first thing to happen, after only wearing it 3 times is that the undewires in the bra area started poking me under my arms. It turns out they had pushed right through the material. I tried repairing the holes made by the underwire, but they just kept pushing through until I finally took them out. Secondly, the bottom rolls up ALL day long. Not only is this annoying, it sort of defeats the whole purpose of wearing it. I would not recommend paying this much for SPANX when the quality is not even as good as some shapewwear from Walmart!

I purchased a Medium Spanx cognito camisole which is my usual size. When I first put it on, the cami felt fine – not too tight but slimming. I wore it to work for the first time today and it is very uncomfortable because it rolls up every few minutes! I’ve gone to the bathroom more times today to pull it down than I have in the last week combined. I would not recommend this product.
